PRISON COORDINATOR
(10 hours a week)
- Ensure that administrative and clerical work is kept up to date and undertake filing as necessary, maintaining confidentiality.
- Spend time organising, planning, and preparing for the sessions and complete computer work after each session
- Undertake training and supervision as required and take part in appraisal schemes of the Centre.
- Maintain strong links with Centre Director.
- As time allows, undertake such other duties as may be required to ensure the efficient running of the Centre such as listening for post pregnancy loss.
- To use groups for the provision of services such as post abortion support and healthy relationships course.
- Promote and run the ‘I Am Project’ healthy relationships course at Bronzefield Prison in Ashford for female offenders.
- Coordinate with prison and NHS staff employed at Bronzefield to provide the ‘I Am Project’ ensuring at all times to work within the prison guidelines.
- Prepare resources and materials in advance of the ‘I Am’ course.
- Train, manage and supervise volunteers to deliver the ‘I Am Project’.
